Depression and anxiety are the most common symptoms that are reported to me and that impact daily life. Feeling so stressed by work or school that you can’t sleep, that you feel way more irritable than what feels “normal”. Feeling detached from yourself and your loved ones and wondering how to reconnect. By working together in therapy to be curious and build a strong foundation of skills to manage day to day these symptoms become something easily manageable
We are a trauma informed practice. Many incidents in our life may not be perceived as trauma, but our brain may perceive them as danger. The joy of treating trauma is that we have the ability to work with our bodies and emotions to process these difficulties. Anxiety, fear, depression, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after traumatic events. Together, we can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

We are here to hold that healing and growing space with you.
Adolescence is a difficult time in general, being thrown between childhood and adulthood. Many issues of transition come up whether in terms of social group, academics, or with self identity. Depression and anxiety are extremely common and knowing how to handle and express these concerns becomes more difficult. Social pressures grow. Having a support system that is not a parent and not a friend can greatly increase a teen‘s ability to cope and feel safe. Many teens report preferring the online format.
